LAVELLE LAW, LTD. ADDS ATTORNEY TO EXPAND REAL ESTATE PRACTICE GROUP

WILLIAM TERPINAS, JR. JOINS PALATINE FIRM

For immediate release - Palatine based law firm Lavelle Law, Ltd. has announced the hiring of attorney William Terpinas, Jr. to the firm. Terpinas becomes the eleventh attorney in the firm which was first established in 1989 by Kerry Lavelle. Terpinas will bolster the Real Estate Practice Group.

William Terpinas, Jr. was most recently with Tuzzolino and Terpinas LLC where his work was concentrated on real estate and corporate issues. He has been a practicing attorney for seventeen years. Mr. Terpinas received his law degree from California Western School of Law where he was also elected to the Executive Board of Directors. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association and the Hellenic Bar Association. Of the hiring, Kerry Lavelle said’ “I am very pleased to have someone with Bill’s experience join the firm. Despite the current housing environment we do anticipate a return to a more active market and are excited about the prospect of having Bill as part of the practice as the market rebounds.” Lavelle also projects Terpinas taking a lead role in handling complex real estate and property transactions for investors, condominium groups and others.

ECUMENICAL HELLENISM GROUP (www.gnl.gr)

The Program “Ecumenical Hellenism” is the work of a private initiative based in Athens. Its aims are the following:
• The aid of Greeks of Diaspora.
• The promotion and aid of Hellenes abroad.
• The promotion of the national identity, language, culture and history.
The Kokkalis program at the Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University organizes lectures of great interest. (See http://www.hks.harvard.edu/kokkalis) The program also has scholarships, fellowships and other activities. Anyone can get on the mailing list and be notified of their events.
